“The Butterfly’s Struggle” or “The Cocoon and the Butterfly” as an analogy for coaching.
“I was at a crossroads in my life when I reached out to Georgie for one to one coaching to help me find my direction again. At the time I was based in Toronto working as an Executive Assistant, with the intention of moving home to Ireland to start something new. Georgie and I caught up via Zoom once a week over a course of six weeks for one hour sessions.
I absolutely loved Georgie’s approach. As each part of your life has an impact on the other, Georgie looks at your life as a whole to truly determine the areas you want to improve. My work has always played a massive role in my life and my happiness, for right or for wrong, and Georgie helped me get to the core about what really drives me and would give me job satisfaction. Georgie encouraged me to get out there again and to start having conversations with different people who worked in areas I was interested in, and to start looking into courses and ways I could secure the job I’ve always wanted.
When I returned home we did another session together, (including starting the day with some meditation!), and after we ran through a couple of exercises and had further conversations, I had a clear view of the path I wanted to take. I would have not been able to get to where I wanted without Georgie.
